Michael Cho is the Founder and CEO of StoryGen Agency, a B2B outbound sales agency.

B2B Sales from the Front Lines

Before founding StoryGen Agency, Michael Cho spent a decade leading and scaling sales development teams inside venture-backed B2B technology startups.

As SDR Manager at Next Caller (acquired by Pindrop) from 2016 to 2018, Cho ran sales development inside an enterprise machine-learning company focused on call verification and fraud detection.

He moved to Darktrace as Regional Director, Sales from 2018 to 2020, selling AI-driven cybersecurity to enterprise buyers. Darktrace was later acquired by Thoma Bravo for $5.3 billion.

From there, Cho served as Director, Sales Development at Humu (acquired by Perceptyx), the behavioral-science platform that uses science-based "nudges" to influence positive behavior change.

The progression from SDR manager to enterprise sales leader to sales development director gave Cho practical authority on how outbound teams are actually built and managed.

He understands cold calling because he has run cold-calling teams. He understands enterprise sales cycles because he closed them inside an AI-cybersecurity category leader. He understands sales development operations because he built and managed them inside companies where the pipeline math had to work.
